TRIGUN takes place on the planet GunSmoke in the far future, how far is never exactly told. It is a dusty planet that has a large amount of advanced technology most that people have forgotten how to use it or how it even worked. The main Character is a 'beings who exist outside of time' named Vash the Stampede. He is a Gun slinger who believes no one has the right to take the life of another. Vash along with a few selected friends he meets on the way "Meryl Stryfe " "Milly Thompson and "Nicolas D. Wolfwood " Travel the dusty planet seeking only peace as Vash is always hounded by his past. He is known as the humanoid typhoon for a reason.
