What is PlayAnime?
PlayAnime is an Online Community where users can interact and discuss the latest in Anime, video games, movies, music and any other topics that interest users.
Users can interact with other members through the forums, PA RP Characters, fan fictions, fan art, PA Guilds, PA Journals and more. I forgot my password. How do I get it?
You can get a new password emailed to you. Go to forgot password page and enter the email address for your account. A new password will be emailed to you. If you dont get the email, check your Spam or Junk mail boxes as the email may have gone into one of those. You can change your password again after you login on your Member page. Please dont ask me for your password, cause Im not able to get it for you.
I cant login to the Chat Room!
You must have Javascript enabled on your browser, and Java must be installed and enabled. You can get the latest version of Java at www.java.com.
How do I add backgrounds, music, images and other things on my profile?
Please ask other members who have this stuff in their profile for help. There are alot of members who are willing to help you make your profile. Theres also a Forum category where you can post questions about how to do things on your profile and people can answer you there. I just dont have the time to teach everyone how to add things to their profile.
I registered, but I didnt receive my activation code in the email.
If you use free email service such as Hotmail or Yahoo, please check your junk mail box as the activation code link may have been sent to the junk folder. If you've checked all the folders and still dont see the activation email, go to the contact page and fill out the form and send to me with the Username you signed up with and the Email address you used.

Your activation email should have your username and password. Remeber your password is case sensitive. If you are sure you are entering the correct password and it still doesnt work, go to the forgot password page and enter your email, and a New password will be emailed to you.

Why cant I get a webpage or why doesnt my Webpage work?
Member webpages are temporarly down, until I get a chance to update and upgrade them. People who had a webpage before, your webpage is not lost or deleted, its just closed for now until later.
What are Kozeni (coins) and how do I earn them?
Kozeni is be used to 'buy' certain things on the site such as buying PA RP Character items, creating guilds, increasing the personal image gallery space and other features. You earn coins by just being active on the site and participating in PlayAnime contests and events! The longer you visit the site, the more Kozeni you earn. Kozeni is a way to reward those people who visit the site reguarly and participate and contribute to the PlayAnime community.
How do I upload an Avatar?
After you login, go to your Member page and click 'Upload/Change Avatar'. Then click browse to find the avatar on your computer and upload. Remeber the max size for avatar is 100 by 100 pixels.
Why isnt my Image showing in the Image gallery after I submit it?
All images submitted go to a preview area and have to be approved before showing up on the site. Depending on how many images people submit, it may take 3-4 days before your image is acutally shown on the site, so please be patient.
Why did my Forum posts go down?
If you posted something in a topic that breaks forum rules and the topic gets deleted, everyone who posted in that topic will lose the posts that were there. So if you see a topic that breaks the forum rules, just report it to a Moderator or Administrator.
I update my profile and when I go back to edit it again, the Submit button disappears.
This means there is some code in your profile that is breaking the site, so its not showing the submit button. To undo this change, go to edit profile and click the Undo Profile Changes button at the top and it will un-do the most recent changes. If using the Undo button still doesnt fix the problem, please send me mail and I will fix it.
I think my account got hacked, what can I do?
Its important to keep your password to yourself and not share it with anyone. Also if you share the computer with anyone else, its important you logout everytime you leave the site. This will help protect your account. If you think someone else has logged into your account, change your password immediatly. If all your Kozeni was taken, please send me a message and I will look into it.
How do you make a site like this? Can you help me?
Making site like this takes alot of time and work. Please dont ask me to help you make a website, I dont have enough time to help or teach people how to do all this. First of all, requires good knowledge of html, css and thats just the basics. You need to know how a basic webserver works including operating in a linux environment through Shell. Then you need to know PHP and MySQL, which is the core programming language used to create this site. If you dont know all of this, sorry I wont be able to help you. I dont have time to teach people. If you're serious about making webpages, start with html/xhtml, either get a book or read online.
